The State of the Union

Ok. So, The State of the Union, i.e. the union between my life and this blog.

So. I love this blog. And I love my life. And right now, if I’m honest, they’re kinda fighting. Not bloody, to the death fighting (they will both survive, I promise) but like teenage-sister fighting. Over the one bathroom in the house. And, erm, I’m the bathroom (work with me here).

Right. Ok, so we’ve established that I’m the one bathroom that the teenage sisters are fighting over and as you can imagine, that fight is loud. Like whoa-loud. I mean, there’s love between them, but there’s a lot of drama too. And that’s what it’s like right now, between my this blog and my life. And I, The Bathroom, well…I need a deep clean. And maybe some ear plugs (but not those self-expand ones, they freak me out).

So what does all this mean? It means I’m gonna try a bi-weekly posting schedule, beginning on October 9th, 2017. My hope is that this scheduling change won’t be permanent. My hope is that a cease-fire can be negotiated and that our suddenly very mobile Frog will adjust to a daycare situation we’ve been trying. My hope is that The Bathroom tile grout won’t be so grimy (I do shower, I swear). And finally, I hope that I will be able to keep it in my pants instead of on my pants (if I’ve totally lost you here, read THIS).

And finally Thank You. Really and truly, thank you for reading and following and commenting and sharing and all of the things. You guys are the best.
